RiverQuest departs from HADDAM. Across the river from the Goodspeed Opera House.
This coming weekend is Memorial Day Weekend! Let the season begin! We do have on-line booking, but, anticipate there will be plenty room on all cruises, so if you don't book, just show up!
May 25:
10:00am, one hour Kid's Cruise.
1:30pm, 90 minute Gillette Castle Cruise.
6:00pm, two hour Sunset Cruise (we think.....)
May 26:
1:30pm, 90 minute Gillette Castle Cruise.
6:00pm, two hour Sunset Cruise (YES...this one is happening!) I added on-line booking, please do book on-line so I know how many tables to set up, thanks!

Private Charters:
We are now booking dates for your intimate, casual, fun Private Charter this season. RiverQuest is a great venue for your private gathering of up to 45 people!
Remember, it is OK to book any cruise, if we need to cancel (bummer...), if you cannot re-schedule, we will not charge you. No Risk!

What's going on in the river?
Looking forward to getting out on the river This Memorial Day Weekend, so we can check on how all the creatures and the river in general are doing. We need to check on our local Osprey nests, particularly the Bridge nest....and the Osprey nest on the old lighthouse cement base in Deep River, the Canada Goose nest on the base of Marker 35 and others! Some young Double Crested Coromorants (see photo of the day, below)
NEST UPDATES:
Swing Bridge Osprey Nest:
They are incubating, lay date 05-04!!! The mate has been flying in regularly, also cruising around looking for more sticks.We saw her today, 05-18. She is deep in there.
Eagles:
Goodspeed: We have seen them around, flying by the park.
Lyme/Nott: There is one chick, should be flying any day now! We will try to see something on a Sunset Cruise.
Old Lyme LT: Hatch date: 04-13. Don't know how many.
Old Lyme BH: Definite baby. Not sure how many yet. Hatch date: 04-27.
