A casual buffet or Hors-d'oeuvres/Cocktail type gathering where your guests can mingle and be casual works best on RiverQuest. We suggest a maximum of 40 guests for everyone's comfort. For an intimate sit-down dinner, please e-mail or call us for specifics.

Food: On RiverQuest, you supply your own cuisine. Depending on the event, bring Hors-d'oeuvres, potluck, light buffet, sandwiches; choose a caterer or we can supply you with a list of experienced caterers. 
                                                                                                                                                                                           Beverage: Any beverage, including alcohol is allowed. Please plan to bring and serve your own. If you need  coolers (we have three medium size for your use) or if you need ice (we will supply a maximum six 5# to 7# bags) let us know.

Miscellaneous: There are tables and chairs available that can be arranged to fit your party needs. We have vinyl table clothes on the tables that you can use or bring your own. Bring your own dishware and "paper" supplies. Children of any age are allowed on your private cruise. Decorations are allowed, however, you'll want to keep it simple!

Music: There is a sound system on-board, so, please, bring your favorite CD's or your Ipod to listen to on your cruise (PLEASE, NO RAP). 

Duration: A minimum of two hours is required for all Private Charters. For Showers, Weddings or Birthday Parties will there will be gifts, a cake and speeches, we strongly suggest a three hour charter. If we have nothing scheduled after your charter, you can add extra time at any time during your cruise.     

Re-location: We can pick your group up at a dock other than our home dock. There will be a re-location fee, along with any other fees (example: docking, parking) that may be charged to us. We must approve the dock. E-mail or call us to discuss options.

2010 Private Charter Prices:                                                                                                                             Charter price includes the entire vessel, along with the Captain and Crew, to be exclusively yours. No added or hidden fees.

RiverQuest

Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings (after 4pm): $1100.                                                               Duration of three hours. This time period includes setup and your time under way.                            Additional time: $250 per hour. 

Monday through Thursday evenings (after 4pm); Saturday and Sunday mornings (between 8am and 12:30pm): $1000.                                                                                                                  Duration of three hours. This time period includes setup and your time under way.                            Additional time: $250 per hour.  

SPECIAL Monday thru Friday “lunchtime” (schedule between 11am and 1pm): $700                            Duration of 2 ˝ hours. This time period includes setup and your time under way.                                    Book a company or group outing on RiverQuest. We have a SPECIAL price for a 2 1/2 hour Private Charter booked for Monday thru Friday. Bring your own lunch, have it catered or make it simple and we'll pick up a "box lunch" (price of each lunch -about $10- to be confirmed when you book) for you from our local deli. Or eat after your cruises at one of local restaurants: La Vtia Gostosa, The Gelston House or the Blue Oar (a great little very casual restaurant right on the Connecticut River) Contact Us.

Available Dates: Check our Calendar for available dates.                                                                     If an evening lists "Public Sunset Cruise", that evening is available for a Private Charter.                           If an evening lists "Pending" it may be available. Let us know Contact Us and we'll check with the "Pending" party.                                                                                                                                           If an evening is not available, please consider a morning or SPECIAL "lunchtime" charter. February and March: $1200 for a 2 hour Eagle Cruise, 35 person maximum (coffee and tea included).

ADVENTURE

Connecticut River personnel will be happy to help you with setup and breakdown. Setup and breakdown time are included as part of your charter. Note: Price includes all fees except tip.

NOT YET IN SERVICE BUT GETTING CLOSE!!: Adventure is a new addition to Connecticut River Expedition's vessel RiverQuest that we hope will be in service SOON! Adventure will be great for corporate events and individual parties!
