Connecticut River Expeditions (CRE) is owned and operated by Captain Mark and Mindy.

CRE is in business to provide the general public access to the lower Connecticut River and to educate all passengers on the ecology and beauty of the lower Connecticut River while cruising aboard CRE's vessel, RiverQuest. Departure is from Eagle Landing State Park/Route 82 Directions in Haddam, CT.

Mark and Mindy, the owners of RiverQuest, were both raised in Old Lyme. They have been cruising on the lower Connecticut River and Long Island Sound in various vessels since childhood and are very knowledgeable on the history, ecology and local wildlife that abound on the lower Connecticut River.

Captain: Captain Mark has many years of experience as a Captain on the lower Connecticut River and has a 100 Ton Masters License issued by the United States Coast Guard.

Crew: Our current weekday and sometimes weekend or evening crew is normally Larry Carson. Larry has worked with CRE off and on for the past seven years. He has a 100 Ton Masters License issued by the United States Coast Guard.

Crew: Mindy is usually the weekend and evening crew. She has a 100 Ton Masters License issued by the United States Coast Guard.
